I think you've got it backwards. If the government comes back to Parliament for its first "probation report" and the Liberals are dissatisfied, they will have a difficult time convincing the NDP to re-visit the coalition idea. Then again, a summer/fall election is probably where we are headed regardless of what happens.

I dunno, it seems like turning his back on any future coalition would be cutting off his mustache to spite his face.
